After the Clock Tower visit, proceed to Moshi Railway Station. Explore the history of the railway in Tanzania, highlighting its role in colonial development and subsequent independence. The station itself reflects a blend of colonial-era architecture and modern facilities, showcasing the evolution of railway transport in Tanzania. The railway played a crucial role in linking the interior of Tanzania with the coast, facilitating trade and transport of goods such as coffee, tea, and other agricultural products.
Proceed to Moshi Central Market, a bustling marketplace where you can find local crafts, fresh produce, and interact with local vendors. Learn about various crops produced in Moshi and the nearby region, from how they are grown to their harvesting and preparation.
